Currently there are 13 groups that are comprised of 10-15 members. A group meets once a month at a members' home. Days and times vary according to each groups' preference. While the groups function autonomously and independent of each other, each member is expected to read the book chosen for the month and be prepared to participate in the discussion which is facilitated by various members. New groups of 8 to 10 people will be formed after openings in existing groups are filled, or if 8 or more people sign up together and wish to form a new group. Members may be added and new groups formed throughout the year as sign-ups dictate. Anyone signing up to join/form a book discussion group will be contacted within 2 weeks of the Nauset Newcomers monthly meeting. |
